About the event
Workshop Description: Revision is the most crucial moment in our writing journey. It is also the most daunting and elusive of steps, often leaving us with more questions than answers. We know we want to make our work beautiful, poignant, and clear. But how do we get there? In this craft talk, we will discuss the art and process of revising, focusing on tangible revision strategies and exercises to help us reimagine our work. We will also discuss the importance of playfulness during this arduous process (because, though it can be, revision doesn’t have to be painful). How do we make revision fun, stimulating, and engaging for us? Why is “play” crucial? Students will leave with a detailed revision plan and renewed focus and attitude.
