About the event

Workshop Description: Through this lecture we will look at theory and analyze craft as a way of writing towards what our body so desperately wants to reveal. We will explore these questions: How does one write poems that risk everything? How does one write poems towards a subject in an authentic way without diminishing violence, grief, death, war, or other threats?  By examining the aesthetics and techniques of poetry, exploring theories, looking at poems which risk, and learning how to turn silence into action.

Tickets are $25 minimum for general admission and limited $10 tickets for writers-in-need. All proceeds go towards paying our presenters and helping the Press pay for operational expenses. Thank you for your contribution to help keep an indie intersectional press afloat!
